  ◆Usage of "안녕하세요"

"안녕하세요" is the most useful greeting that can say anywhere, anytime. The general usage of this phrase is that we come across someone. On the other hand, there are ways to use it like following situation. A clerk can say it when customers visit a store, when customers go out of a store. We can say "안녕" with friendly. This is like "Hi!"

◆The difference of "고맙습니다" and "감사합니다"

You may use whichever. "감사합니다" is more polite than "고맙습니다". When you wanna say lightly, you can use "고맙습니다". When you wanna say seriously, you had better to use "감사합니다". But no regular rules to distinguish from these phrase.

  ◆How to say "Good-bye"

It's neccessary to distinguish from these phrases. When we leave a partner, we have to say "안녕히 계세요" against staying people. On the other hand, when a partner leaves us, we have to say "안녕히 가세요" against leaving people. During friendly people, we can say "다시 또 보자" which means like "See you again".
